Prof. Sven Kolja Braune specializes in technology-specific business law, including product safety and product liability law, and represents national and international companies as well as large research institutions in both contractual matters and litigation.

He possesses many years of expertise in drafting and negotiating research and development, cooperation, as well as licensing and distribution agreements, including quality assurance agreements.

A focus of his activities lies in product safety and product liability law, as well as the related areas of product compliance, including advising on risk avoidance strategies and dealing with crisis situations in the context of product warnings and recalls.

He is a specialist lawyer for industrial property protection and IT law and has been teaching competition law and procedural law in Darmstadt for many years.
